Mike Sockol knew that the number of years is not the measure of a life. It is the way you live the hours, days, and years that is its measure. And Mike lived his time fully, creating much that will carry on into the future. The vision he brought to the Holmdel School Board will enrich the lives of their students for decades. The wisdom, ideas, perceptions imbedded in his 30 original plays will always spur the thoughts and ideas of others. He lives on through his good works and deeds. I know he remains in the hearts and minds of those who knew and loved him.
